Julian's Bio

Julian at Julian, California

Julian hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He has played bass for over fifty years. He has traveled and played bass all over the world. Some of his influences are Cream, Mountain, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and his uncle David Perry. David was a member of Mountain in 1973-74, and played on Mountain's last album with the late Felix Pappalardi on an album called Avalanche.

Julian played with David in a band called The Dionysians. Julian's bass influences are: his Dad, his brother Neil, Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, and his friend and mentor Felix Pappalardi of Cream and Mountain fame. Another major influence is the great Robert Vanarsdale who Julian was in his first band with, called the Vandells.

Recording at
Magpie Studios in Boston.
Two favorite drummers I've played with: Jimmy Bon Jovi and Corky Laing of Mountain
